What is receptivity?

And how does it relate to our wombspace?

In the world of gynecologic health, the concept of a receptive womb is all but left to the scientific research articles talking about encouraging an optimal uterine lining so potential implantation can occur.

And while that is absolutely important (of course having a robust and nutrient-rich uterine lining is a sign of not just uterine health but also overall health), there is more to the story than just the physical components.

In my perspective, cultivating the *energy* of receptivity is JUST as important as having the physical building blocks we need for womb health.

In fact, I would go so far as to say that supporting the reproductive and generative organs in our womb with everything from visualizations and loving self-touch all the way to herbs and grief and trauma work can ALL encourage more optimal receptivity.

The truth is, we are not just physical bodies.

We have emotions, we have traumas, we have grief, we have patterns and we need tools and strategies to support us on multiple layers as we work to enhance our receptive energy - whether for fertility, sensuality or hormonal health overall.

Which is exactly what I get into in this week's episode.
